Sponsored Artists

The blog behind the glass has decided to sponsor various artists to try to help them excel in their fields. The idea is very simple and could be summarized as advertising publicity. It's about creating a small directory on the blog with information on different artists sponsored. They shall refer in their publications to the site to attract fans to the directory and, thus, the rest can be benefited by their successes. All in the family, I have the honor to help them not only with the board but also to report on events on the blog and they benefit both from my advertising and that of the other members.

For if it is not clear here I break out the foundation for this project:

  • Artists Sponsorship is a family project and that I will be the contact with the artists, to propose to join the initiative.
  • Once selected and accepted these bases, sponsored artists send me their bios, preferably not too long, to be included as information in the directory.
  • There will never be money involved, and I get paid by joining the initiative or the artists belong to it.
  • The Artists sponsored undertake to mention the blog behind the glass by the blog name, address (www.rorpieth.es) or directly by putting the address of the section www.rorpieth.es / sponsored.
  • The blog behind the glass is committed to announcing the events and new works by artists sponsored.

Andres Martinez, born 11 April 1990 in San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia), began to be interested in singing at the tender age of 9. His first steps at an early age were the pop hits of the moment, although at 14 he became interested a little more for the metal and all its aspects.

But if there was a group who scored his career he was none other than Saratoga. So great was his enthusiasm for the band from Madrid that ended real sticking kilometers to be taught the very same Leo Jimenez, who was then still the lead singer of the aforementioned Saratoga.

In 2006 some friends and formed their own Andrew Headon, the band that even today is a singer and where you have placed all his hopes. Although the sound of Headon has evolved in tandem with his voice, remain away from the path of Heavy Metal with a capital and unadorned.

Javi Perera

Perera

Javi Perera is a singer, songwriter, producer and arranger Ceuta. Born August 13, 1985 in Ceuta, Spanish city located in northern Africa. Since childhood has always loved singing since age 7 his parents enrolled at the Conservatory of Melilla, on a piano. His first contact was heavy for his father at age 8, showing a record of Scorpions, "Blackout," which musically mark a before and after for him. Then he listened to groups like Queen, Status Quo, Led Zeppelin ...

Initial stages with groups
At age 15 he was called by a local group in Melilla, Edon, to be keyboardist for his band. That was his first contact with the world of heavy groups. With them played with bands like Red Baron, Miranda Warning, Ariel Rot ... also played guitar in a group of his friends made with teens, called Reaper, which was a guitarist and played music in the style of Cradle of Filth.

For personal reasons, Javi Perera Edon left the band, and would not be until later on that would have his chance, after hearing a fellow a recording of his voice, they can be unnatural vocalist with Melilla, progressive metal band with influences Dream Theater, Symphony X ... With this group only gave what would be his first and only concert in Fair Melilla, and that studies had to move to Ceuta.

By computer
The discovered almost by accident in the house guitarist for his first band, seeing that had a program in which he could record music tracks, like a recording studio. That earned him a new world where I could express their creativity and above recorded singing songs she liked.

Later his conservatory professor of coral showed him the world of "virtual instruments (VSTi), which could transform the music into MIDI music with real sounds. This has already marked the beginning of an ongoing and constant process of creating tests and more tests to achieve the sound to get more realistic sound using computer-generated instruments, for the sake of self.

The icing on the cake puts Hispasonic.com website, which is a website specializing in computer music exclusviamente in Spanish. Hence, and through many questions and many concerns, and thanks to the collaboration of the users of it, is slowly learning to get into the world of production, mixing, mastering, etc.. That's where it starts to hatch their first recordings with acceptable sound quality medium. Today is attached to this web, which is very grateful and satisfied.

Revealing himself on the Internet
His move to be announced in the network of networks started with Hispasonic.com, but when he started to cross the Spanish border was to the homepages of YouTube.com, MySpace.com Soundclick.com and in which, through videos and audio respectively own, became a little known beyond Spain.

This gives you several opportunities. One was being proposed as a vocalist of American band Periphery. Because Javi Perera met in their early wanderings through the internet to Misha Mansoor, guitarist of the same, when their vocalist at the time Casey left the band Sabol, unofficially proposed moving him an audition for vocalist Periphery. He made a couple of recordings in which one could test their skills to become part of the band, but for reasons of distance and labor could not be. Even so Misha and Howie still maintain contact.

Project: "Hybriido"
Following his life as "one-man group," a good day Javi Perera is discovered by blogger RorPieth ^, which sponsors on his blog to Javi Perera as' sponsored artist. Having RorPieth ^ contact with musicians of the Spanish landscape, it comes in contact with bassist Dragonfly, JuanBa Nadal, who likes songs by Javi, and proposes to make an album with real musicians, offering JuanBa bass. Javi, of course, accept the proposition, since both agree that Spain is not prepared to "one-man groups" such as for example Nine Inch Nails.

Javi Perera at first thought to put a name to your project the same name, but thought it might be too egocentric, so I chose to call it "Hybriido" because, according Javi Perera, "no two songs I like to do the same or the same style. I like the variations in style, mixing between these ... create hybrids. Doubling the "I" is because there are several groups that have an "I" and, if things go well, to avoid potential problems by name afterwards. "

In this project was to unite the virtuoso Art Rodriguez, but for reasons of studies failed to join, so the current guitarist of Dragonfly, Alberto Alba, joined this project.

Hybriido is self-produced by Javi Perera, using only his laptop and a sound card, and possibly once completed and signed with Pagan Records.

Rita started writing a couple of years later when he met a community of musicians called Hispasonic Internet. There he met Niko, in addition to forging a close friendship, formed a group called Iris. Rita met with this project and made his first steps in music, "Gothic", which was carrying him slowly to the genre that you like now, Heavy Metal.

From 2004 to 2006 Rita and Niko worked hard at his musical project Iris, and their efforts were rewarded when they managed to bring out his first album: "The Door of Dreams". This album is a mix of styles as diverse as metal, gothic rock and New Age music, and plunges you into a fantasy world where everything imaginable is possible. After the departure of this album and with the intent to prepare thoroughly for any direct, Rita began to take singing lessons. These classes came very well for him soon after, making his live debut with a concert in Seville. Both the recording of the album as their distribution had made two of them, but that did not stop the disc had some impact, especially in Andalusia, giving them the opportunity to record a video clip and acting in various galas.

Although the project was going well, Rita had to move to Madrid for personal and project Iris stood.

Once settled in their new home, Rita knows the urban rock group Getafe Disciples of Salieri. This group had just released his first album, "Identity", produced by Leo Jiménez (Stravaganzza, Ex-Saratoga) and it so happened they were looking for a female voice to do the chorus in live. Rita did the test and almost immediately joined the group that has already taken its first concerts.

Currently Rita Jimenez is immersed with Disciples of Salieri in the preparation of which is the second album by the band.

Verona 9

Verona 9

9 Verona's history stems from an Internet advertisement, "is seeking musicians for pop-rock project funded and future projection. They respond to him Noah (vocals), Ivan (keyboards) and Carlos (bass), experienced in the last two very different bands of different styles (from pop music to metal end) of the scene Madrid / South. There are known and work on it, even begin to outline some of the issues on the band as "Without your smile". But the project did not prove what was promised and it will gradually abandoned, due to differences in the shape of the same address.

Then comes the idea of forming a new rock band free and creative self, with the former drummer of that project and start working various topics. To this period belong the group's first demo, recorded by the components themselves without much means. It consists of three tracks, "Water," "Ember" and "Without your smile", the first two sung in English, and which values diversity of influences and facets that time the band wants to show, from the style most unusual and compelling of "Ember" to more traditional ballads like "Without your smile" through "Water" on average, but always in search of good tunes as the cornerstone.

Later came the following several retirements and changes in training, during which the band continues to work as a trio, in order to record a self-financed studio LP. This initially have the services of producer and guitarist Fernando Giron (Carlos Baute, The Garb, etc). Under the leadership of the group takes a new direction with a more uniform and simple, pop-rock cut without losing the personal touch given the very different influences of each of its members. It is the most prolific period of the band, which comprise more than twenty items, with the intention to select the top 11 that will be part of the disc.

During this time the band joins Mary (drums and violinist called) and give a concert in the hall Joaquin Sabina with good public and critical acceptance. An account of it in free newspaper and local (Madrid Sur, Metro.) Later it completed the formation of the band with the addition of Tristan Edgar Hernandez on guitar, student, among others, the guitarist of the Mexican band Maná.

This addition coincides with the second demo recording of the band, composed of two tracks ( "Castaway" and "I'll know who will smile") that shows the new line style adopted by the band. Castilian is imposed on the letters and both the style and structure of the themes become more conventional and direct (without involving decrease in the demand for the band for trying to make good songs and melodies), seeking an opening to them closer to the public walking in the harsh beginnings. Also visible is the musical evolution as a production group and much more careful on the issue of arrangements, not in the technical means, which remains limited.

For professional reasons related to economic conditions Edgar is forced to leave the band and was immediately replaced by Joaquin Lopez "Quino" who after a shooting in various settings with Verona 9, also announced his abandonment of incompatibility regarding their other dedicaciones.Tras a search for new guitarists to the continuity of the work group, is Peter, anxious and excited about the project, giving a modern air Verona 9, contributing their personal touches that enrich the songs already created. Currently the band is dedicated to finalize details of the issues and prepare the setting along the same face to the live presentation of the group, marking the first goal, later face the experience of studio recording with greater confidence and a more consolidated proposal as a band, with the background that gives the settlement of new components and absorption of the issues by themselves and their personal contribution by the songs themselves.

I would have liked to hear something of Verona 9, but MySpace does not have a player with nothing in the interview up and transport bar is not able to skip a few minutes. They also have the overburdened Myspace profile. Any place where you can hear something from them, other than the interview?

Two different projects and roll style, but one common goal: success. I wish luck to both, and hopefully I can do with a copy of their records soon.
