Arjen Lucassen, one of the best composers of Heavy Metal of all time, again picking up a load of his most acclaimed projects: Star One

In 2002 the Dutchman Arjen Lucassen released the disc from its group-project Star One The play was, musically and aesthetically, a tribute to the science fiction series Space and Metal of the 70s. For the occasion invites singers Russell Allen (Symphony X), Damian Wilson, Dan Swan (Nightingale, Edge of Sanity), and Floor Jansen (After Forever). The Presbyter was so successful that he even get a tour and recorded a live DVD.

Now, eight years later, Arjen Lucassen has announced that returns to load the old project. To announce it has selected eight fans and led them to listen to demos of songs, without vocals, guitar solos or anything, and recorded their reactions. Here's the video.

Something big is coming and you do not doubt that you will continue to report. To get you started I put one of the videos belonging to the Live DVD of Star One, namely the song Intergalactic space crusaders.

Today is Valentine's Day, Valentine's day, and though I do not believe too much in a day invented by the shopping centers I am aware that more than one of my readers may itself believe in him. So today I put the video clip of one of the songs from my favorite album: Ayreon - The Human Equation. The song is called Day Eleven: Love, and I think in general that with enough hits today. Moreover, as I think the conversation between a person and his instincts of passion, pride, agony and love is quite interesting I will put the letter for those who know English you enjoy a little more.

The video that I bring you today is part of the live performance of one project of one of my favorite musicians: Arjen Lucassen. In 2002, what began as a small tribute to the science fiction series of 80, eventually became a project with various singers.

Unfortunately the singer Dan Swanö could not join the tour of the disc, so that his place was the sister of Floor: Irene Jansen.

Today I leave a video a little stale but some would say, copyright. And is that in these days when I'm enjoying the last work of Arjen Lucassen want me to look back to see your progress.

In 1989 he published the fourth album of Vengeance, the second band Lucassen, whose name was Arabia. I leave this subject in addition to naming the album is composed by Arjen, this cation was noticed and some features that will accompany his music today.

Speaking of Arjen Lucassen's talk about one of the greatest geniuses in the history of heavy metal, and talk about Guilt Machine is to do on your next project. We say as we say a genius is a genius, and if someone like Arjen Ayreon leave their projects to create a new group with which to explore his musical masterpiece that smells.

Far from the subject of heavy metal operas Perect On This Day, and be called the disc of this new group, we do not speak or science fiction or tell us a story through a few songs. In this case all the tracks on the album revolve around one concept: the destructive psychology of guilt. The introspective themes of the songs touch such sensitive fibers such as guilt, regret or the lies we do to ourselves.

As you see, some people are light years away from the cliches about metal music. On This Perfect Day will come out this August 31 and the members that make up the Guilt Machine are:
