Since he started to live with them, human beings have been aware that their pets could feel things that they were not aware. But the selfishness of humans and their inability to contemplate the possibility that some animals are better than them in some ways has made, despite the extensive evidence which has witnessed, never has bothered to study thoroughly by what they themselves can feel those things. Is waiting for a camera to record something unusual enserio start asking questions?

If so you'd better be starting because last month, a security camera of a local newspaper, witnessed how a dog predicted a 6.5-magnitude earthquake in the U.S. city of Eureka. Here is the recording.

Nobody knows what exactly the dog sensed. Some experts say he may have sensed ultrasonic waves (P waves) before it began to shake the earth, and others say what caught was the increase in high frequency electromagnetic signals. But the question is not exactly what caught the dog but the fact that it would capture. From now on more than one really cares a little more when your pet suddenly behaves in a manner atypical and begins to wonder why.

I must admit that I am a person that you are angry to read that scientists and experts such things as "there is no life there" or "not eligible for hosting life. What we know about those requirements? Is not it an act of immense egotism make statements such as we have not yet come to know even half of the forms of life on our tiny planet?

The Elysia chlorotica, a newly discovered sea slug, is capable of doing things that nobody ever thought he could make an animal. The animal has developed a complex combination of chemicals to develop, as do the algae, the chlorophyll pigment itself. This pigment gives the ability to create energy through photosynthesis and survive without other food in addition to solar energy.

This slug gets the chloroplasts of algae that eats at her young age, and stores the animal's own cells so that, in adulthood, no longer needs to eat or breathe.

We are witnessing the first animal that functions as a plant, a new milestone in nature that shows us once again that we have no idea of how all life on our planet and therefore we are unable to imagine how it could others operate in different environmental characteristics.

How many more things we need to discover to realize how ignorant we are?

Almost 40 years ago held a macro project which sought to pierce the crust with the goal of making geological studies. In the Kola Peninsula, northeast of the Soviet Union, attempted to break the 35 miles of the Earth's crust to reach the upper mantle, but at much less depth than expected, about 12 miles, had to leave because of problems technicians.

In 1989, 19 years after start drilling, they had to stop the machinery at 12,262 meters deep. Today this remains the drilling deeper than humans have been able to do. The excavation had to stop because at that depth, they found pockets of heat that knocked the diamond drills wearing boring machines.

So far the historical and 100% real in this case.

Since this large excavation project was canceled, dozens of scientists have gone there to take recordings of the crust. It is more common than we think, in fact in places like Japan are used recordings of the tectonic plates to try to anticipate the numerous earthquakes that are shaken. Anyway, legend has it that one of the scientists who made recordings there was as famous as Dr. Azzajov unknown. This man, if they really existed, became famous for claiming that those 12,000 meters deep had managed to record the voices of hell.

On the Internet there are hundreds of changes to this file does that add human cries for everything seem more real. But in this blog we will stay with the original audio, because I think it strong enough by itself to all bristly hairs.

On the one hand we have thousands of faithful who believe the confirmation hearing this "scientific" that hell exists, but on the other hand we have the scientific explanation of these sounds are just the hundreds of thousands of chirps produced by the earth's crust with all its cast of internal motions.

Last month, U.S. scientists at the State University of Oreg n (OSU) published in Nature their study of the electrical conductivity of the mantle. The study found abnormalities in the large rock layer located between the core and crust. Apparently, the electrical conductivity is not uniform down there as expected but has hot spots where the conductivity is triggered. These unexpected anomalies, as these scientists could have a simple explanation: Under the crust, tens of miles beneath our oceans and abysses, might have water in abundance.

Adam Schultz, professor, College of Oceanic and Atmospheric Sciences at OSU and co-author of the study, recently said:

There may be other explanations, but the model clearly shows a close association between subduction zones and high conductivity. The simplest explanation is that it is water.

Furthermore, another study author, Mr Gary Egbert, summarized rather more blunt:

Really do not know how much water is on Earth, but there is some evidence that there are many times more water under the ocean floor than there is in all oceans of the world together.

But it is not here, as demonstrated the existence of such large quantities of water under the earth's crust must begin to consider how water affects the physical properties of rocks, or the viscosity of the mantle components . This means that the composition of Earth's mantle may be different from what we have been assuming many decades.

Obviously these scientists admit there could be more reasons that explain these anomalies in the electrical conductivity of the mantle, such as in subduction zones have higher concentrations of iron and carbon. But the simple fact that in the scientific world sow doubt is proof that we are far more ignorant than we think when we look in the mirror.

What do you think this new theory about what's on his way to the center of the earth? Anybody else has been agreed by Jules Verne and how a sea described below Earth's mantle in his work?

The technology is advancing by leaps and bounds so that every day new machines come out and projects that it has only a handful of years we seem pure science fiction. Businesses and Shimadzu niponas Honda went a step further into the future by presenting a few weeks ago the new version of Asimo, a robot that through technology Brain Machine Interface (BMI) can be controlled by thoughts.

Can you imagine? In a little we can sit comfortably on the sofa, put on our helmet remote control and ask our little friend metal that brings us to the newspaper, prepare dinner or give you feed the dog.

Yes I know, for the moment the good of Asimo is capable of interpreting only four or five basic commands, but this new remote control system has just arrived and promises to bring us stunning new surprises in the future.
